Instead of another tech movie about the printer’s particular technological improvements, we took an abstract approach to illustrate the creation of a printed photograph. Using a mix of shooting real elements and CGI, we take the viewer deep inside the printing process, to macro on liquid simulation for the ink as it drips onto the paper fibers. We created a commercial where the audience could discover the magic of printing in a microscopic dimension.
